19 Nov A break from the MICE industry?
In recent days we have received great news within the sector which should be highlighted are:
- World Travel Awards in the category “Europe’s Leading Meetings & Conference Destination”.
- World MICE Award in the category “Best convention center in the World”.
Which lets us see a ray of light at the end of the tunnel!
Both news make us proud to be part of this sector and remind us of the great work that we have done over the years, for today even with the situation that we live we are recognized for it.
In an interview with the director of IFEMA, where they confirm that the activity will return to that important venue in Madrid in the second quarter of next year 2021; which gives us encouragement to endure a few more months, using them to prepare and adapt to the new guidelines.
Recalling that if we all collaborate and follow the protocols we have fought so hard for in the past few months; a “normality” more similar to what we knew before will be possible, where the benefits will not be reflected only in our sector events with the large amount of work that will be given to Spaniards as staff, big and small agencies, producers and suppliers of this venue among many others; if not that sectors such as tourism and hospitality will have a great impact thanks to the opening of fairs.
Without leaving aside the importance of the digital, of course this situation that we live gave us a much faster advance than we expected, the technology was something common in the day to day, and thanks to the last months has become indispensable.
One of the benefits that we will be able to grant to the fair sector is the greater impact combining the face to face and the digital.
We know that networking is important and that everyone enjoys it, so we are training day by day in hygiene and safety protocols, to be able to continue offering the best quality in what we are specialists, the design and assembly of stands.
Let us hope for 2021 with great hopes of succeeding and achieving what we like most!
